Parents of the bride are Calvin J and Diane Gibbs of Bountiful. Parents of the groom are Folafolaga and Nancy Avei of Woods Cross. The Marriott Hotel was the setting set-ting of the wedding breakfast hosted by the groom's parents. A garden reception was held at the home of the bride that evening. A traditional Samoan luau was held Aug. 18 at the North Canyon Stake Center, given by the parents of the groom. Attending the bride and groom wen Tina Webb, Laurie and Emey Maikisich, Tracy and John Haire, Brad and Wendy Gibbs, Stacey and Michael Gibbs, Carol and Corey Avei, Junior Avei, Loma Fonua and Chris Ah Ching. Kim Marsh was at the book. Wedding showers were given Kristen Walton and Kay Henrie, Laurie Markisich and sisters, Wendy Wen-dy Cook, Forence Stowe, Donna Wangsgard and Diane Smith. After a honeymoon on St. Croix in the Virgin Islands, they will make their home in Orem, while they attend BYU and UVCC.
