FARMINGTON-Classes for individuals in-dividuals who want to earn credit toward their high school diploma begin Aug. 27, at Clearfield, Davis and Viewmont high schools. Courses are offered in the basic core subjects including math, English, history, science and health. With the exception of a fee assessed for drivers education, there is no charge for classes taken by adults who have not completed requirements re-quirements for their high school diplomas. However, current secondary students who desire to earn makeup make-up credit will be charged $50 per adult evening school class. Adult education courses run concurrently con-currently with the Davis School District 10-week quarter system. Classes generally run three hours, once each week. Prospective students may check with the three schools listed above for days of the week, starting times, and room numbers. |
