Show Horris-Shutt Rodney Shun and Virginia Harris were married Aug. 10, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple by F. Briton McConkie of the temple presidency. presiden-cy. Virginia is the daughter of David and Marilyn Harris, and Rodney is the son of Freda Shutt of Bountiful, and the late George Shutt. After the wedding, the couple were honored at an English garden party given by Freda Shutt and family. A reception, given by the bride's parents, also honored the couple in the evening, at the Chateau in West Valley City. Attending the bride was Lynda Lindsay, her sister, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were sister-in-law, Lee Ann Harris and cousin, Rebecca Whetzcl. Nieces Rikki Lee Harris and Teisha Lindsay were junior ju-nior bridesmaids. Stacey Haynie, a cousin, and Arlene Shutt, a sister-in-law, were at the guest book. The colors for the reception were rose and burgundy. Dan Scott, friend of the groom, was the best man. Mitchell Shutt, brother of the groom, accompanied his mother. Richard and Steven i Harris, brothers of the bride were ushers. MR. AND MRS RODNEY SHUTT Two bridal showers were given by family members. Rodney graduated from Bountiful Boun-tiful High School and served in the Philippines Manila mission. Rodney and Virginia are both graduates of the Salt Lake Community Com-munity College and are continuing their educations at the University of Utah. |
