Proceeds raised from the 'il Haunted Old Mill support the research, re-search, education and community programs of the American Heart ? Association. The American Heart is the nation's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to the reduc- vl tion of disability and death from heart and blood vessel disease, i which annually kills almost one - million Americans. Jast year the AHA spent more than $150 million in support of research re-search and public and professional -t education and community pro- grams. The American Heart Association, Utah Affiliate is taking applications from groups or individuals interested inter-ested in helping with the Haunted Old Mill. The Haunted Old Mill, located at 6900 S. Big Cottonwood Canyon Road in Salt Lake County, will operate daily except Sundays, Oct. 5-31. Help is needed in several areas at the Haunted Old Mill, according to Wayne Davis, development director for the AHA, Utah Affiliate. He indicated in-dicated that groups or individuals are needed to help create and staff rooms at the Haunted Old Mill. In addition, people are needed to help with construction activities prior to opening. Those groups interested in-terested in creating and -staffing a room must be willing to commit to operate the room for the entire period the Haunted Old Mill is open. Incentives are available to |
