Show Salt Palace to host ivildlife exposition g SALT LAKE CITY The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Founda-tion's 8th Annual International Elk Camp and Exposition runs Feb. 20-23 at the Salt Palace. The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is a 63,000-member, non-profit international wildlife organization whose mission is to raise funds for the direct benefit of elk, other wildlife and their habitat. The foundation expects in excess of 25,000 sportsmen and conservationists to attend its four-day expo in Salt Lake City. The Elk Camp features 450 exhibits, including world-class outfitters, the finest in wildlife art, custom gunsmiths, and a variety of hunting equipment. The camp also offers world- record elk displays, hunting and wildlife management seminars, a world-champion elk calling contest, con-test, wildlife theater and two jjx benefit auctions. Past Elk Camps have helped the Elk Foundation raise money to enhance and conserve one million acres of critical elk habitat habi-tat throughout the West in just eight years. At this year's Elk Camp the foundation will make a six-figure six-figure contribution to enhance Utah wildlife as part of the Book M - Cliffs Conservation Initiative.
