Davis jumped out to an early 10-1 lead and cruised to an impressive 61-42 region one victory. vic-tory. Regan Tayloi led the Lady Darts with 20 points, while teammates Jodi Wimmer and Rebecca Heusser added 15 and 14 respectively. Angie Hansen, who had 10, was the lone Viewmont player in double figures. "Our defense paid off and that was a big plus for us," said Davis coach Chimane Creer. "I've got to give credit to all the kids that played. They did exactly what we asked them to do.' The Lady Darts added to their game-opening run by answering a 5-0 Viewmont spurt with eight unanswered points of their own.
