Show 'Memorial for Life' held at Capitol on Wednesday Bv CHERIE HUBER Clipper Correspondent The 19th annual Memorial for Life was held in the state Capitol on Wednesday. The meeting was sponsored spon-sored by Right to Life of Utah. President of that organization, Rosa Goodnight of Layton, was the principal prin-cipal speaker at the rally. r She told the small crowd of about 100 women and children gathered there that they should work to elect pro-life candidates. "You must register to vote in 1990 so you can vote those pro-aborts' out of office," she said. She told the group that Gov. Norman Banserter Attorney At-torney General Paul Van Dam and Sen. Jake Gam" are all leaving office when their current term is up and voters must be careful how those positions are filled- Goodnight said voters must flood the polls m November and contact their lawmakers to ask for tbor continued support of Utah's anti-abortion law. She told the group that the "right to die" kgis1 almost passed in Washington state because many of tne voters who opposed the legislation did not vote. Gov. Bangerter spoke to the group and accused tne American Civil Liberties Union of making a circus ot the April 6 trial of Utah's anti-abortion law. Let,ffl were also read from Sens.
