Show News R. A. Potter Pvt. Roger A. Potter, Pot-ter, son of Winonna F. and Ron V. Potter of 1826 S. 440 W., Bountiful, has completed com-pleted basic training at Fort Dix, N.J. During the training, train-ing, students received re-ceived instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, read-ing, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, first aid, and Army history and traditions. tra-ditions. Greenwood Darren K. Greenwood, Green-wood, son of Karlene Palmer of 301 Spur-lock, Spur-lock, Layton, has been appointed a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. The new noncommissioned non-commissioned officer offic-er completed training in management, leadership, human relations and NCO responsibilities, before be-fore being awarded this status. Greenwood is an administration specialist spe-cialist with the 4th Tactical Fighter Squadron at Hill Air Force Base. Military Xcws Christensen Pvt. Jonathan E. Christensen, son of Shad H. Christensen of 2387 N. Fort Lane, Layton and Linda A. Christensen of Pleasant Grove, has completed basic training at Fort Knox, Ky. During the training, train-ing, students received re-ceived instruction in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, read-ing, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, first aid, and Army history and traditions. C. E. Sanchez Airman Christopher Christ-opher E. Sanchez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sanchez of 1326 N. 1325 E., Layton, has graduated gradu-ated from Air Force basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Tex. During the six weeks of training the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs cus-toms and received special training in human hu-man relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the community college of the Air Force. He is a 1987 graduate gradu-ate of Layton High School. |
