Show Donald D. Colter CLINTON Donald Duane Colter, 60, of 1232 N. 3000 W., died Saturday, May 21, 1988 at McKay-Dee McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden of pneumonia. were held May 24. Funeral directors, direc-tors, Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary. Mor-tuary. i He was born Aug. 8, 1927 in Scottsbluff, Neb., a son of Charles Wesley and Sybil Zelda Roberts Colter. He married Luella Moore March 10, 1951 in Elko, Nev. He retired in 1982 after 37 years of service in the civil engineering department at Hill Air Force Base. He was reared in Nebraska and Utah. He lived in Hooper for seven years and in Clinton for 25 years. He attended schools in Nebraska Nebras-ka and attended Weber High School. A veteran of World War 11, he served with the U.S. Navy Sea-bees Sea-bees in Okinawa. He was a member of the Roy Elks Lodge 2338 and was a life member of the Disabled Veterans Weber Chapter. He enjoyed boating boat-ing and fishing. Surviving are his widow of Clinton, Clin-ton, one son and one daughter, Bob Colter, Roy; Linda Sheppard, Layton; four grandchildren. Also surviving are his mother of Ogden, one brother and one sister, Wesley D. Colter, Ogden; Mrs. Clare (Ruth) E. Bailey, Farr West. Interment was in the Hooper City Cemetery. Graveside services |
