Show Mueller Park Bowery completed it" v U " . Is . f ! I Anton J. "Tony" Kaiser, president presi-dent of Kiwanis International, cut a ribbon recently to symbolize completion of a bowery for the Mueller Park,' 1800 South, recreation recrea-tion area through cooperation of the Kiwanis Club of Bountiful and the city of Bountiful. At the same time, as Kiwanis contributions to the project were acknowledged, Neal Jenkins, director of parks and recreation for the city of Bountiful, announced that tables and benches have been delivered and will be installed. Jay Moffat, past president of the Bountiful club and project chairman, chair-man, said the club started raising funds about eight years ago and in the 1986-87 administrational year, accepted a challenge to complete the bowery. It was completed in October 1987. He dedicated the bowery to family and friends in Bountiful. Director Jenkins said the bowery is a family project and will be a help to family groups in the Bountiful area. Sanford "Sandy" Pierce, 1987-88 1987-88 Lt. Governor of Division 2, for Utah-Idaho Kiwanis, and a past president of the Bountiful Club, said the bowery is another example of Kiwanians living their motto of "We Build." Also accompanying Kiwani International In-ternational President "Tony" Kaiser was Stanley Morgan, president presi-dent of the Utah-Idaho District of Kiwanis. Bountiful Kiwanians were hosts for an official visit and reception for Pres. Kaiser Saturday evening in Salt Lake City when 182 Kiwanians Kiwa-nians and guests heard him stress the importance of continued growth and service in their respective respec-tive communities.
