Show Open house scheduled Pk''': ;iC '7'" OPI H. Stirling Thornley will be honored hon-ored at a commemorative open house for his 80th birthday. He was born Nov. 1, 1908 in Frankburg, Alberta, Canada to Marvin Enoch and Mary Ellen Roberts Thornley, and was the third of six children. Stirling has two sisters and three brothers, Mary and Lamar Thornley, Thorn-ley, both deceased, Camilla Robi-son, Robi-son, Gordon and Grant Thornley. He married Julia Moore Dec. 27, 1934. The Thornleys are the parents pa-rents of two sons, Gary M. Thornley, Thorn-ley, Bountiful and Roger V. Thornley, Thorn-ley, Lubbock, Tex. They have seven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. great-grandchild. Since his retirement in Hawaii in 1975, the Thornleys have made their home in Woods Cross. On Sunday, June 5, friends and relatives rela-tives are invited to an open house from 5-7 p.m. to be held in Stirling's Stirl-ing's rose garden at his Woods Cross home. The address is 1329 S. 675 W.
