' 4 J J Louis Kirby Cook, son of Dr. Richard and Lynda Schneiman of Sandy and Carter Cook of Kaysvil-le, Kaysvil-le, has received a five year scholarship scholar-ship from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. . He is only the second young man in the state's history to have ever received re-ceived this appointment. After successful completion of his first year at the Naval Academy Prep School in Rhode Island, he will enter the Naval Academy at Annapolis. , Kirby is a senior at Alta High where he has received numerous academic and athletic awards. He lettered in football and was captain of the team. He was chosen for the All Region Football Teams as well as being selected for the Tribune All-State Football Team. Kirby will be playing football for the Naval Nav-al Academy. Louis and Noreen Cook and Darrel and Darlene Blackwell of Layton are his grandparents. LOUIS KIRBY COOK |
