Show Bird hunters quizzed on luck Game bird hunters are being asked to provide vital information informa-tion on their hunting activities during the past fall hunts to the Utah Division of Fish and Game prior to preparation of the annual harvest report. Approximately 13,000 persons are being sent questionnaires out of an estimated 88,000 hun-ters hun-ters who pursued upland game birds in 1968. It is extremely important that the hunters fill out these questionnaires as accurately ac-curately as possible and return r.hem quickly. , All that is requested of the hunter is which county he lives hi, if he hunted upland game birds in 1968 and then to list for each species of birds the number he bagged, the number num-ber of days hunted, and the county he hunted in for that species of bird. Harvest questionnaires are the most economical method of obtaining this type of information. informa-tion. . Persons receiving these questionnaires ques-tionnaires are being asked to play an important role in providing pro-viding management data which could affect all of the nearly 90,000 upland game bird hunt-ersJ |
