A three-tiered wedding cake with pink roses and lace trim on a lace table cloth, was topped top-ped by a miniatue bride and groom. Mrs. Vera Singleton was in carge of serving and decorations. Karen Lee Elder, daughter of Mi. and Mrs. Arthur L. Elder, became the bride of Steven Larry Jolley of Provo in wedding wed-ding rites performed January 22 at the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Clarence Ligman, Provo. Tho groom is the son of Laureen Jolley. The couple was married by Bishop Carles Hjoith of Mopleton. The newlyweds ar: making their home at Jackson. Wyoming. Wyom-ing. For the reception held at the Mapleton Ward the night after their wedding and given by parents of the bride, the new Mrs. Jolley was lovely in white brocade satin gown trimmed in white lace with empire waist and a bow in front. Her veil was elbow-length with a cap of pearls. Her flowers were pink roses surrounded by white baby carnations and whits daisy mums with pink ribbon streamers. The bride was attended by Kalynn Elder. Laura Jolley and Irene Singleton who wore pink, yellow and blue street-length dresses .Their flowers were pink roses and white carnations. carna-tions. Best man duties were ner- formed by Bill Fangel. The bride's mother wore a blue metalic street-length shift. The groom's mother wore beige iace. Thir flowers were pink roses and white carnations. At the guest register was Joye Williams, aunt of the bride. Ushers were Masel Elder. |
