Show Alpha Beta Club is entertained Alpha Beta Club members met at the Community Service Center last Friday with Mrs. Earl Condie and Mrs. Earl Goates as hostesses. The room was decorated in keeping with Valentine Day. President Mrs. Sheldon Niel-son Niel-son presided and welcomed members and Rea Straw as a guest. Salute to the flag was led by Mrs. Myron Childs while Mrs. W. C. Harrison gave a thought for Valentine Day. President Nielson announced the Utah Valley Symphony Ball for March 3 as an orchestra benefit event. The Federated Clubs have chartered a bus to take the women to the state legislature February 20. Mrs. Earl Goates introduced Mrs. Carma Anderson who presented pre-sented a drama, "Snow White and the. Mirror" and taken from the story of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." It was written in the modern form and vocabulary. She was accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Maurice Bird. Refreshments were served following the program and the next meeting announced for February 28 at the home of President Nielson. |
