In charge of the program and invitations were the Young Marieds; seventies sev-enties quorum, decorations, and Mr. and Mrs. Homer Wakefield, program chairmen. They presented, pre-sented, a program on string in-truments in-truments of past years which proved very interesting to the audience. About 40 couples attended. at-tended. Mrs. Martha Houtz suffered a heart attack whie visiting her daughter, Mr .and Mrs. Leslie Gregerson in California. E I Mi. and Mrs. Blake Everett had three returned missionaries j T 1 who had been with their son. Dennis, in the Costn Rica, area visit them one Jay last week. The boys are now attending BYU. They were Save Crosby, John Daley, Jr., and Kent Griffiths, Grif-fiths, all of California. Mapleton Third Ward Ensign En-sign basketball team won the Kolob Stake championship trophy. tro-phy. Coaching the winning team was Jess Warren, the players were Joe Bushman, Mc-Arthur Mc-Arthur Holana, Ron Daniels, Kent Hansen, John Edmunds, Frank Edmunds and Steve Banks. Kathy and Sandra Davies, also al-so Margaret Sayer, spent the weekend from Snow Cellege in Ephraim, visiting with their parents. |
