Show i Pfc. Richard C. Higbee of the 101st ABN, Air Force Division received his wings as a paratrooper before leaving Fort Benning, Ga., where he finished six months training. During nine weeks of advanced advan-ced infantry training at Fort Gordon, Ga., he learned guerilla guer-illa warfare and lived under simulated Vietnam conditions five days and nights, fighting fight-ing off attacks and conducting conduc-ting raids. Other specialized training Included small unit tactics, map reading, land mine warfare communications communica-tions and firing various types of rifles. After a leave with his folks, he expects to go to Vietnam. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. R C. Higbee of Winnemucca Nev., and a grandson of Mrs. Delia Clark |
