Show Heart attack fatal for Myron D. Chlids Funeral services for Myron DeVere Childs who died Wednesday Wed-nesday morning, June 21, 1967 of a heart attack on his ranch, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Fourth-Tenth Ward Church under the direction of Bishop Howard Ivory of the Fourth Ward. Friends may call at the Wheeler Mortuary Friday Fri-day night from 7 to 9 and Saturday Sat-urday prior to the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Childs who was a prominent prom-inent farmer and sheep producer, pro-ducer, was born Aug. 20, 1907 in Springville, the son of John D. and Mary Jane Gudmund-son Gudmund-son Childs. He attended schools here graduating from Springville Spring-ville High School and the Utah State University, Logan. He served on the student council at Utah State University. He married Lucille Johnson, Aug. 23, 1933. She died in 1940. He later married Maureen Dixon Dix-on at Boise, Idaho, Dec. 2, 1943. The marriage was later solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a high priest in the Fourth Ward. A successful sheep rancher, Mr. Childs took an active part in the Utah State Wool Growers Grow-ers Assn. He was past president presi-dent of the Utah County Chapter Chap-ter and served on numerous board assignments for the organization. or-ganization. He was a director of the Utah State Ram Sale. He served as president of the Central Utah Motor Company of Provo. Surviving is his wife;' also the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Robert (Kathleen) Yates of San Jose, Calif.; Mrs. Lanny (Ann) Daybell, Mapleton; Judy, John M., Richard D., and Kris-tine, Kris-tine, Steven L., all of SpringviUe; Spring-viUe; six grandchildren and two sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Zina Condie, Bliss G.
