Show Springville Guardsmen return from muddy summer camp A large group of Springville men will return this weekend from one of the muddiest, wet-est wet-est summer camps in the memory mem-ory of veteran National Guardsmen after two weeks training. From the valleys of California Califor-nia to the water-logged Utah camps, some 4000 Utah guardsmen guards-men will return to their families fam-ilies and regular jobs. Springville guardsmen will be among those of the 115th Engineer Engi-neer Battalion returning from the Uintahs. Members of the 110th Light Equipment Co. with others from Murray, Utah, Carbon and Salt Lake counties, built 16 miles of public road and worked on one of the largest lar-gest Boy Scout camps in the United States. Utahns from Ogden, Layton and Salt Lake City trained at Dugway artillery ranges. |
