Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hales and children Lisa and Reed of Chicago, Chi-cago, 111., are expected here for a visit this week. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Hales. Bonnie Whiting, daughter of Q Mr. and Mrs. Harold Whiting, I was a guest at Snow College I recently along with other 4-H boys and girls. She was a winner win-ner in one of the 4-H achievement achieve-ment programs in the county. Her chaperone for the three days was Mrs. Doris Ann Row-berry, Row-berry, who is a 4-H leader in Mapleton. Bonnie was on a talent tal-ent show, and participated in many different activities while she was there. They became acquainted with three international exchange students at the conference. Two of them were from India and one from Germany. The German Ger-man boy returned home with this group and will stay with the George Banks family in Palmyra for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Oldham ! and family of Casper, Wyoming Wyom-ing are spending a week with Mrs. Oldham's brother and his family, Mr .and Mrs. Keith Wiscombe. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Johnson U and daughter, Nancy and son, M Parley, spent a week's vacation Fj in Santa Fe Springs, California, w They visited with Mr. and Mrs. 0 Hank Angus and their family, 9 and with other relatives in that H area. B Since coming from California, Mrs. Johnson has gone to Yakima, Yak-ima, Washington, to attend funeral services for an uncle, Mr. Oscar Stone. She made the trip with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Stone of Orem and Mrs. Lillian Hales of Magna. Three Mapleton couples celebrated cele-brated their wedding anniversaries anniver-saries together last week. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Clegg, Mr. and Mrs. LaVell Bird and Mr. and Mrs. Norris Binks. They went out to dinner and then went for a long ride around the county and nearby canyons.
