Mason of this city, was elected department commander com-mander for the state of Utah for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, at a concluding meeting of the three-day state convention conven-tion here Sunday. Elected department president of the VFW Auxiliary was Helen Marie Kearl of St. George. Main speaker at the Saturday Satur-day luncheon was "Aunt Ella" Reynolds, 91 year old Springville Spring-ville poet and writer.
