Show Services held for two Springville women killed in auto accident Funeral services were held Tuesday for two young women of Springville, who lost their lives in an automobile accident Friday evening, June 16, 1967. They were Twila Madge Diamond, Dia-mond, 27, and her friend and companion, Mrs. Esther Claire Warman, 35. The accident occurred when a small foreign car, apparently driven by Mrs. Diamond, skidded skid-ded off the road and rolled over three times, near the Draper Crossroads on U.S. 91, in Salt Lake County, as it traveled north. Mrs. Diamond was reported killed instantly and Mrs. War-man War-man died shortly after midnight several hours after the accident, acci-dent, at the Cottonwood Hospital, Hospi-tal, Salt Lake County. Services Funeral services for Mrs. Warman were held at Wheeler Mortuary, with Bishop Melvin Haymond of the Ninth Ward, presiding. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Funeral services for Mrs. Diamond Di-amond were held at the Park Ward in Payson and burial was in Payson. Mrs. Diamond was born daughter of Verl and Lenner-eaux Lenner-eaux Holman Dockstader. She married Rex Diamond of Springville, in Payson in Oct. 1960. They resided at 147 No. 100 East. She received her education at Payson schools, and was a member of the LDS Church; was also active in the Jaycee Wives organization of Springville. Spring-ville. Survivors include her husband hus-band and three children, Darin, Dar-in, Cynthia and Stacy all of Springville; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Dockstader of Pay-son, Pay-son, and grandmother, Mrs. Etha Holman of Springville. Mrs. Warman was born June 9, 1932, at C e d r o-Wooley, Wash., a daughter of George Dewey and Thelma Runnells. She married Frederick War-man War-man at Greenville, Maine. They came to Springville in 1959. Mrs. Warman was a member of the LDS Church and was employed at various businesses in Springville as a waitress and maid. Survivors include her husband hus-band of Springville, a daughter by a previous marriage, address unknown; father, stepmother, New Sharon, Maine, and a sister, sis-ter, Marilyn Runnells, Maine. |
