Show BYU grid slate for '66 lists six home games Six home football games the fattest home slate ever put together at BYU will be feaured as part of the Cougars' 1966 football schedule. Football coach Tommy Hudspeth's Hud-speth's Cougars, the defending champions of the Western Athletic Ath-letic Conference, wall play a full slate of five WAC games, plus five non-league games. Six of the ten games will be played in BYU's new stadium, sta-dium, which is being expanded this summer to more than 30, 000 seats. And one of the four remaining road games will be played against University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Homecoming draw for Cougar Cou-gar fans will be Nov. 5 game with Texas Western, Sun Bowl champions who finished the season with an 8-3 record under un-der Bobby Dobbs. Last year, BYU and Texas Western finished fourth and fifth respectively ' among the nation's top offensive teams, and most of the talent on both teams will be returning this fall. The Cougars will open the season Sept. 24, against San Jose State in San Jose.
