Show Mapleton News Mrs. Blake Everett Vanda Jensen and granddaughter, grand-daughter, Ann Ghipman, who is attending the BYU had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin W. Laird (Jane) on Mothers Day. They returned home late in the afternoon and other members mem-bers of the family came to visit. vis-it. Ann's parents, Phyllis and Dean Chipman of Bountiful and their family came for a short visit. Mr and Mrs. Paul Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Jensen Jen-sen and their families also came during the evening. Marie Morgan spent the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting vis-iting with her son and daughter daugh-ter and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Morgan. On Friday Fri-day evening she attended a shower for her granddaughter, Marianne Olsen, who is being married to Dennis McCuan in the near future. On Sunday she attended church with the Morgans, and had dinner at their home, returning to Mapleton Ma-pleton later in the day with her granddaughter and Mr. McCuan. Mrs. Ardith Jensen, daughter of Mrs. Olive Whiting spent several days visiting with friends and relatives in Maple-ton Maple-ton last week. She and her mother mo-ther visited with other daughters daugh-ters of Mrs. Whiting's, Mrs. Helen Wiscombe, Mrs. Wilma Cloward and Mrs. Don Blanch-ard. Blanch-ard. She returned to her home in Blackf oot, Idaho, on Thursday. Thurs-day. Mapleton Firemen's Auxiliary held their monthly meeting at the home of Doris Bulow. Ella Reynolds of Springville delighted delight-ed the group with poetry, readings read-ings and many tales as only she can relate. A brief business meeting was conducted by president, Janet Carnesecca. A bake sale was held on Saturday with Lois Graves in charge. Hostesses assisting Mrs. Bulow were Lenore Bills and Vivian Miguel. Visitors at the Kelsey Lee home recently were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Milne of Salt Lake City. They also visited with Ronald Lee. Mr. Milne's mother, mo-ther, Mrs. Ethel Lee was a sister sis-ter to Kelsey and Ronald's mother. mo-ther. On Sunday Kathleen and Bud Losee, daughter and son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Kelsey Lee and their two Children of Orem, spent the day visiting with them. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Everett and baby daughter of Ogden, spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Everett. children were present. They had dinner together and spent the afternoon visiting. Mrs. Lucy Roundy's family gathered at her home on Sunday Sun-day to pay honor to her for both Mother's Day and her birthday, which was Saturday.
