Show Boat, travel show set at fairgrounds The first annual Utah Boat and Sport Travel Show will open a five-day exhibition at the Utah State Fairgrounds beginning May 18-22. Over 250 trailers, campers and motor mo-tor homes combined with displays dis-plays of over 150 1966 model boats, motors and other marine ma-rine products will occupy much of the 3 acre exhibit area. In addition there will be 2 24-foot trout tanks stocked with fresh trout from the Clear-view Clear-view Hachery of Heber City for the enjoyment of youngsters young-sters and adults willing to fish for dinner and a large 100-foot casting tank is. available for those who wish to exhibit their skill. Fishing and casting rods for use at the tanks will be furnished without charge. Other entertainment will include in-clude continuous showings of several hunting, fishing and sports films as well as bait, fly and spin ' casting exhibitions. Dale and Betty Slocum, famed casting champions from Phoenix, Phoe-nix, Arizona will be appearing daily. A full scale archery range will offer exhibition shooting and be available to the public. |
