Show Enoch By VEDA MATHESON Record Correspondent Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Heaton returned Saturday from a visit to their children in California. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith of Salt Lake City visited here with Mr. Smith's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thorley and their family. Last week we wrote that Mr. and Mrs. Art Salas were in Salt Lake City to see their son, David, as he departed for a mission. It was Joseph who went on the mission. David still lives at home. Sorry. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Christiansen had their entire family home over the weekend to visit and participate with Lee in the sacrament .meeting for the Enoch First Ward. Those who came were Orville and Cindy Gerrow and family from Springville; Bob and Teena Taylor and girls from Granger; David and Connie Christiansen from Orem; and Mark and Debbie Christiansen and boys from Montezuma Mon-tezuma Creek, Utah. Frank and Terri Christiansen and their family live here. Lee leaves soon for an LDS mission. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Barr have just returned from a trip to Indiana to visit family members. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Connors spent some time recently in Blythe, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Norman DeWitt came from Orem to visit with Mrs. Mary DeWitt. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Garfirld and family were in Salt Lake City over the weekend to take their son Mike and Charles Stankosky, sone of Mr. and Mrs. John Stankosky. The boys will leave soon for Hawaii where they will work for the next few months. Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Alger and family also took Bryan Alger to Salt Lake City where he will leave with the group for Hawaii. The Enoch Second Ward Primary held their annual program Sunday during sacrament meeting. It was a nice program and well attended. at-tended. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Grimshaw amde a trip to Albuquerque, N. M. on business. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bishop enjoyed a visit from Terri's mother, Mrs. Beverly Sandberg, and sister, Mrs. Marty Ann Katis. They were here to help with the Bishop family after the birth of a new baby girl recently. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Jackson came from Torrey, Utah, to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Dale Young and their family and w with the Jackson's duaghter, Verla. Mrs. Lorraine Reynolds was here from Provo over the weekend to visit her family members here. Mr. and Mrs. Carl LeFevre and Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Hunter each have a new baby girl born last week at the Valley View Medical Center. , |
