The club ; . members recently produced and performed five 1 separate plays for appreciative audiences, ( Middle School presents plays Members of the Cedar City Middle School Drama Club recently finished presenting five plays. The repertoire included "The Wizard of Oz;" "Penelope, the Pride of the Pickle Factory," a melodrama; "Disco," a teenage dance play; "Two Shorts and One Long," a a humorous skit; and "The Speckled Band," a ; Sherlock Holmes mystery. According' to club advisors ' Marilyn Fotheringham and Rayma Anderson, the plays were the culmination of the winter work done by the club members. All 42 of the members participated in one of the plays, which were organized, learned and performed entirely by the students. In addition, the students memorized their parts and cues and provided t their own props and costumes. |
