Show Scouts appoint field advisor Mrs. Geneva M. Swartz, executive director of Utah Girl Scout Council, has appointed ap-pointed Jane Inglis, from Seattle, Wash, as the new field adviser with Girl Scouting in Southern Utah. She will serve District IX from Beaver south to St. George and Fredonia, Ariz. Coming up through Girl Scouting, Jane brings her experience of program from Totem and Western Rivers Councils. She has a degree in recreation, with an emphasis on Community Youth agencies, having worked in Y.M.C.A, Latch Key (after-school Day Care) and a camp for disabled girls in the Seattle area. Jane and Mrs. Joseph (Joann) Cwik, Girl Scout chairman of District IX, Cedar City, will be working with community Girl Scout Chairmen from Cedar City, Escalante, Fredonia-Kanab, Fredonia-Kanab, St. George, Hurricane and Springdale to coordinate adult training, organize day camps and plan fall recruitment of girls and troop leadership. |
