Show Davis High Orchestra Concert Parowan, his mother, Addie Lund, lived in Paragonah, and both graduated from Parowan High School; Cedar High School orchestra or-chestra students will house the Davis people on Monday night, and all would like to have a good crowd come out to hear and see a very special musical treat Monday evening. The Davis High School Symphony Orchestra, under the sponsorship of the Cedar High School Orchestra, will play a concert at the CHS Auditorium on May 5 at 8 p.m. The Davis group will be returning from Tempe, Ariz, following participation in the Mountain States Music Festival sponsored by Arizona State University. Cedar High School officials of-ficials are scheduling the Monday evening program as a very appropriate family activity. The 82-piece orchestra or-chestra will play some of the finest and most exciting music in the finest and most exciting way. Mrs. June Larsen, director of the CHS Orchestra, Or-chestra, states that the Davis group is undoubtedly the top high school orchestra in the state. In 1977, 1978, and 1979, they traveled to Gresham, Ore., near Portland, Por-tland, to perform in the Mount Hood Orchestra Festival. Each of these three years, they won the trophy for the outstanding performance. per-formance. As they achieved this distinction last year, the orchestra was given a standing ovation by the crowd in the Mount Hood Community College Auditorium.
