Word of this appointment came to Jay Wednesday in Salt Lake City where he is attending the University of Utah, majoring in Chemistry, and was received Friday Fri-day by his parents in St. George. His work at the Pennsylvania institution -will include research along with associate teaching. Fellowships rarely, if ever, are awarded through influential pressure, which means only one thing, that the individual so honored has fully merited the appointment. Teachers and associates as-sociates of Jay Seegmiller know of his painstaking efficiency in his school work, both at the Dixie and at the U. of U. Graduating from the University of Utah this spring, Mr. Seegmiller Seeg-miller plans to leave for the fall opening of the Pennsylvania college. |
