Show TOQUERYILLE Mrs. Rowena W. Slack Reporter A friendship shower was given Thursday night at the home of Mrs. Archie Kleinman, for Mrs. Wilmer Anderson, by the Ladies' Sewing club. Those attending the funeral services for Robert White of Cedar City were, Rev. and Mrs. Charles H. Hamilton, Martin Anderson and Harry Slack. Mrs. A. P. Spilsbury and Mrs. Rhea Wakeling, of Cedar City, were visitors here Saturday. - Mrs. Ina Day and son of Salt Lake City are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and 'Mrs. C. M. Kleinman. E. K. Slack left Tuesday for Las Vegas, where he has employment. em-ployment. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Browning Piatt visited here Sunday with Mr. Piatt's sister, Mrs. A. P. Slack. Mrs. Charlotte Haight, of Cedar City, spent Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Higbee. Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Kleinman were business visitors at Las Vegas Saturday. The Sunday evening conjoint program was presented by the M Men and Gleaner Girls. The program consisted of talks by Gordon Bringhurst, Lois Olds, Allen Al-len Dean, Lillian Bringhurst and Archie Kleinman. Musical numbers num-bers were furnished by George Slack. Mrs. Martin Anderson is visiting visit-ing at Boulder City, with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Earl. Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Stout of Hurricane, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Bringhurst. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rumph of Rawlins, Wyo., visited here Thursday Thurs-day and Friday of last week, en-route en-route to Los Angeles. Mrs. Jesse Naegle returned home from the Iron county hospital hos-pital Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Bowler of St. George, visited here Sunday with Mrs. Antone Bowler. |
