Show B.-P.W. Club Mages Annua! Easter Frolic The Easter Frolic and pot-luck lunch of the B.-P.W. club was staged Wednesday evening m the reception room of the McQuame Memorial hall, with Annette P. Foremaster, chairman in charge of the public relations committee program, which "went over with a bang" from start to finish. Music numbers included two baritone instrumental solos by Wavne Prince with Miss Ruth Falck accompanist, and a piano duet by Miss Ha Holt and Miss Barbara Bryner. Following the sumptuous lunch four clever humorous hu-morous stunts were presented "Songs of Sorrow", in charge ot Mrs Beth Schmutz; presentating Miss Margaret Jones soloist and accompanist, with Rhoda Cannon Irma Bentley, Alice Pendleton and Virginia McArthur, completing the quintet; "We Can't Play" presented pre-sented by Roma Snow and Virginia Vir-ginia McArthur; club flashes of news by Edith H. Milne, the club's Walter Winchell who brought her own receiving set with her and exploded some brand new news; and a vocal duet, "The Farmer and His Cow", by Alice Pendleton and Ruth Falck, accompanied ac-companied by Myrtle Henderson. All stunts were presented m suitable suit-able costumes. There were more than 60 in attendance at-tendance including a dozen guests. The election committee, including Luetta Imlay, Jetta Snow, Bertha McGregor, Rhoda Cannon and Belle W. Prince was appointed. The remainder of the evening was devoted to Bingo. Spring garden flowers and fruit blossoms were used in decorations and favors were distributed from a large Easter basket. |
