Show Playing Politics Most of the nation will agree heartily with President Roosevelt in his statement that "this is no time to be playing politics". But, when he makes such statements, he must not be very well acquainted ac-quainted with the actions of members mem-bers of his own party. I wonder what he thinks those thousands of publicity writers have been hired for by the hundreds of bureaus bur-eaus and agencies that have been set up under the New Deal if it weren't to publicize the various departments, bureaus and the New Deal. My desk is flooded with their material which continues to tell of the glories of the New Deal. |
