Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter Mrs. Georgina Neilson was hon-'ored hon-'ored with a birthday dinner on March 26th. Assisting were her 'daughters and daughter-in-laws, Mesdames Lillie Sorenson, W. O. Nisson, Israel Neilson Jr., Veneral Neilson and Antone Neilson. Mrs. Neilson was born in Denmark, Mar. 26, 1865, and came to Utah at the age of 15 years, bringing with her, her three younger brothers. Mrs. Neilson has been an active church 'member, especially in Relief Society So-ciety work. She and her husband, Israel Neilson Sr., who is nearing 94 years of age, are both still active in their home duties. Gwenn Turner and Neola Zahn-er Zahn-er are spending a few days here with their parents. They are attending at-tending the B. Y. U. at Provo, this winter. A pot-luck party was enjoyed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Jolley, Monday night, by some of their friends. Mr. and Mrs. Antone Nisson, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nisson were visitors here from Los Angeles An-geles and Glendale, Calif., last Saturday. Mrs. Marie Spendlove was hostess host-ess to her Rook club Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. W. O. Nisson and Mrs. Lydia Stephens attended the funeral fun-eral of Mrs. Lamar Pearce at Beaver, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Vincent and family were Sunday visitors at Las Vegas. Thora Tobler, who has been in Las Vegas for some time, is spending spend-ing a few weeks at home. |
