Show Miss Rose Riding and Wayne Myrl Bostwick Recite Marriage Vows Here Sat. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Riding furnished the setting Saturday, Sat-urday, March 28th, for the marriage mar-riage of their daughter, Rose, to Wayne Myrle Bostwick, of Las Vegas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Bostwick of Cooper, Texas. Bishop James Andrus of the St. George West ward performed the ceremony at 7:30 p. m., in the presence of a large number of relatives, rel-atives, including the bride's aged grandmother, Mrs. Alice B. Bleak of this city. Relatives came from Enterprise, Pioche, Nev., and Taft, Calif., to attend the wedding. For the ceremony, the bride wore a tailored pin-striped suit of wool, with sheer white blouse and matching accessories. Her corsage was of rosebuds and carnations. carn-ations. She was attended by her sister, Miss Lillian Riding, as maid of honor, and Lester Riding, brother of the bride, was best man. Immediately following the ceremony, cere-mony, a wedding dinner was served serv-ed at the Riding home, with more than 30 relatives attending. Centering Cen-tering the table was a beautiful three-tiered wedding cake made by the mother of the bride. The house, was decorated with carnations, carna-tions, ranunculus and stocks, brought for the occasion from California by Mrs. Jerry Hoff, sister of the bride. On Thursday evening, March 26th, Mrs. Jerry Hoff, Mrs. Mary R. Bowler and Miss Lillian Riding, Rid-ing, joined in honoring their sister sis-ter with a miscellaneous shower at the family home. A variety of games made up the evening's entertainment, en-tertainment, after which the gifts were opened and lunch was served to 20 guests. The couple left Sunday for Las Vegas, where Mr. Bostwick will resume his work at the magnesium magnes-ium plant. Out-of-town relatives attending the wedding included Mr. and Mrs. Clifford E. Wittwer, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin D. Riding, and Mr. and Mrs. Alma J. Riding and families from Pioche; Mrs. Jerry Hoff, Taft, Calif; and Lester Riding, Rid-ing, Glendale, Calif. |
