Show Wilford Schmutz Again Elected Head of A. C. S. Wilford A. Schmutz, of St. George was again elected to serve during 1943 as chairman of the Washington Wash-ington County Agricultural Conservation Con-servation association with F. J. Bowler, Gunlock and Frank Reber, Hurricane as vice-chairman and regular member. Alternates to the county committee are Wayne Gardner, St. George and Thomas Robinson of Washington. The following persons were elected to serve as community committeemen committee-men in the community in which they reside: Milford Barnum, Central and Pine Valley; Ivan Hunt, Gun-lock; Gun-lock; A. H. Bowler, Santa Clara and Ivins; Phillip Foremaster, St.-George; St.-George; Thomas R. Robinson, Washington; Thomas J. Pearce, New Harmony; Seymour T. Stap- ley, Toquerville ; Wilford Thompson, Thomp-son, Virgin and LaVerkin; Frank L. Humphries, Hurricane; Marvin Terry, Rockville, Springdale and Grafton. Returns of the community com-munity elections held in Enterprise Enter-prise and Leeds have not been received. Anson B. Call Jr., and David M. Schmutz were appointed secretary and treasurer, respectively, respect-ively, by the new county committee. |
