Show YIRGIK ' Minerva Earl ' Reporter The Church History class of ) Virgin Sunday school enjoyed a , party last Thursday night at the home of Evan Lee, given by their teachers, Mr. Lee and Mrs. Minerva Min-erva Earl. Home-made candies 5 were served as refreshments fol-a fol-a lowing the program. Mrs. Thomas Semmons has gone to Boise, Ida., to spend Christmas with her sister, Mrs. Conal Jones. 2 Replacing the regular lesson period, a special Christmas program pro-gram was given in the ward Sun-I Sun-I day school last Sunday morning. Mrs. Laperle Cornelius and baby are here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Cornelius. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Earl were visiting Monday at the home of his father, Sylvester Earl. Lionel Matthews of Pleasant Grove spent a few days here last . week visiting with his brothers, William and George Matthews. He will be inducted into the Army Dec. 23rd. Miss Lula Brinkerhoff and her fiance, Thomas Thompson, arrived here from Burbank, Calif., Sunday Sun-day morning to visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Brinkerhoff over the Christ- mas holidays. Their marriage will take place in January. Mrs. Ethel DeMille was visiting at the home of Sylvester Earl last Monday. Pvt. Walter Wilcox is here visiting vis-iting with friends and relatives, having been released from the Army at Fort Knox, Ky., recently. He expects to leave for his home at Walla WaUa, Wash., Wednesday. Wednes-day. Mrs. Howard Whitehead and V daughter are here visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cornelius. |
