Show East-Center Vards Hold Christmas Program A special feature of the Sunday-forenoon Sunday-forenoon Christmas program held jointly by the East and Center wards was the re-telling of the Christmas legend by Mrs. W. J. Reichmann, while a chorus of small girls interspersed the story with songs and carols including, "Far, Far Away On Judea's Plains", "Lo, In A Manger", "Hos-anna", "Hos-anna", and "Silent Night". Mrs. Mamie Paxman conducted the singing. t'other t'-other numbers were a medley of Christmas selections by Mrs. Murray Webb on the violin; 'The Holy City", played as a trumpet solo by Prof. Earl J. Bleak, with Mrs. Bleak accompanying, and "Luther's Cradle Song", by the assembly. The cradle roll class had their program in their class room, which included singing of Christmas Christ-mas songs, a Christmas story and other features. |
