Show Married Tuesday "afternoon in Toquerville were Benjamin H. Forsyth For-syth and Mrs. Sarah Adelaide Twitchell Duffin. The couple left the same evening for Los Angeles where they -will spend the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Rex McAllister arrived Tuesday from San Diego to visit over the Christmas week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. W. McAllister. Mr. McAllister is Third Class "Petty Officer in the Naval Tteserve. Mrs. Cleo 'Whitney arrived Saturday Sat-urday from Xogandale, to visit over Christmas. Mr. Whitney will join her this (Thursday) evening. Mrs. Berry 'Williams of Kanarra, who is teaching school in Mes-quite, Mes-quite, spent Wednesday in St. George shopping and visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Bry-ner, Bry-ner, who will join the family in Mesquite for Christmas week end. Ted Seaman made a trip to Kanab Tuesday, returning Wednesday Wed-nesday evening and bringing his sister, Helen Seaman and Miss Jean Cottam, who will spend the Christmas holidays with their respective res-pective families. Clayton Prince arrived from the Coast Wednesday night to visit over the week end. Paul Lamar Wilkin took the late bus Wednesday for Los Angeles An-geles to spend the holidays with relatives. Mrs. Herman T. Brooksby returned re-turned to her home in Fredonia today, (Thursday). Jack Simpkins returned to the hospital Dec. 17 for surgery. Mrs. W. B. Bradshaw has returned re-turned from visiting in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Carus Lortz. J. W. Simpkins and his daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. John Baker of Joseco, Nev., returned home for Christmas Christ-mas after spending the week with Jack Simpkins, who is in the local hospital. -JJ- -it- w Lee J. Esplin and Mr. and Mrs. David Esplin arrived Wednesday from the Arizona Strip for the holidays. Capt. Howard Cannon arrived early this (Thursday) morning to spend the holidays with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cannon. Can-non. Mr. and Mrs. Don Carlos Schmutz and baby of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. George Jay and son, Wally, of Salt Lake City are also guests of the Cannons for the holidays. Milton Nelson arrived this (Thursday) noon from Provo to spend Christmas week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Nel- son. Also a guest of the Nelsons is Miss Carol Hedquist of Provo. Mrs. LaPrele Snow returned Tuesday from an extended vacation vaca-tion in San Francisco. |
