Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Mrs. Lillian Pace Reporters Two of the town boys who are in training in the Army are home on furlough for the Christmas holidays. They are William Hunt from Missouri and Arthur Pickering Pick-ering from Colorado. On Dec. 12th a farewell party was given in honor of Howard Drake who left Enterprise the following week to enter the Navy. Howard is the third son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Drake to join the Navy. Included on the program pro-gram was a vocal duet by Minn-etta Minn-etta and Annie Hunt; solo with guitar accompaniment by Stanford Stan-ford Staheli; talks by Grant Langston, S. C. Jones and Howard Drake; readings, Mrs. Grant Neil-son Neil-son and Mrs. Leland Huntsman. Dancing followed the program and refreshments were served. Mrs. Mary Ann Huntsman celebrated cele-brated her 92nd birthday anniversary anni-versary Dec. 14. Mrs. Huntsman is the oldest resident of Enterprise Enter-prise and may be the oldest woman in Washington county. The elementary grades put over a fine Christmas program Tuesday night. Merlene Staheli is home from Ogden, where she has been employed em-ployed in defense work for several sev-eral motnhs. Josephine Huntsman has returned re-turned home from Glendale, Nev., for Christmas. |
