Ilardy Reporter The "Welcome Home" missionary party held last Saturday for De-Lance De-Lance Squire was voted a decided de-cided success, and included dancing danc-ing and a short program. Included Includ-ed in the latter was a vocal quartet, quar-tet, "White Christmas", by Dixie DeMille, LaVon and Ramona Gub-ler Gub-ler and Afton Stratton, with Mrs. Thora Gubler at the piano. A short skit, showing the arrival of DeLance was staged by Barbara Bar-bara LeBaron, Shirley Hinton and Carl Church. Bishop Vernon Church made a short address of welcome and DeLance responded with a brief report of his experiences. experi-ences. LaFell Iverson was in charge of the program., We had as speakers at Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting last Sunday, Joseph Webb and Victor King, of the Zion Park high priests' quorum. Orin Hepworth who was in a recent highway automobile accident acci-dent in Nevada is home to visit until after Jan. 1st, and will then leave here with his construction company, for a new project on the Mexican border. Clell Stratton who was injured recently is reported improving and his parents plan to bring him home as soon as he can be put in a cast. The LaVerkin Relief Society held their Christmas party Tuesday, Tues-day, ' a good program being provided pro-vided for the event. |
