Show Cane Beds, Ariz. Mrs. Jos. T. Wilkinson Reporter Mrs. Karl S. Perkins went to Kanarraville Tuesday upon receiving re-ceiving word that her sister was seriously ill there. Mr. and Mrs. McDowell, who have lived in Modena for the past several years, and where Mrs. McDowell has been the postmaster post-master during those years, were visiting old friends in Cane Beds this week. Mr. and Mrs. McDowell Mc-Dowell were among the very first settlers in Cane Beds over 20 years ago. They are leaving for Illinois where they intend making their home. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Lauritzen and children, Mr. and Mrs. Dawn Lauritzen and children, Mrs. Reed Lauritzen and children and Mrs. J. M. Lauritzen of Short Creek all attended church here Sunday. Word came to us Sunday afternoon after-noon that Roy Whipple of Mt. Trumbull, was found by Lee Es-plin Es-plin that afternoon, in an unconscious un-conscious condition and very ill in his camp near Cane Beds, He was rushed to Hurricane to a doctor. I |
