Show Baccalaureate Services To Be Held Sunday In Recreation Hall High School Exercises To Be Held In Woodward Gym Tues. Nite Baccalaureate Services Sunday night, May 19, at the Recreational hall will be the first of three programs sponsored by the college col-lege during commencement week. Dr. Adam S. Bennion will deliver the sermon. This program will be a cooperative coopera-tive effort of the Institute and the college, the graduation exercises exer-cises of the former being held at this time. President Snow will give an address ad-dress of welcome, and Homer Robertson will give a short talk. A splendid musical program will support the speakers. The high school graduation exercises will be held in the Woodward gymnasium Tuesday night, May 21. County Attorney Orval Hafen will address the graduates. Herma Gubler will give the valedictory and Genevieve Asay will make the prognostication. Musical numbers will be given by members of the class and certificates certifi-cates will be awarded by the county board of education. An original production, "Our American Heritage", will be the feature of the commencement exercises Thursday night., May 23, in the Recreation hall. This is under the general direction of H. L. Reid, and is composed and produced pro-duced by members of the college graduating class. The presentation will attempt to portray the contribution con-tribution of the various nations to civilization, with emphasis on the heritage of the American citizen. J. E. Seegmiller, college honor student, will give the valedictory address. Music will be furnished by the college orchestra. Diplomas will be awarded under the direction of the State Board of Education. Each of the meetings will commence com-mence at 8 o'clock. |
