Show No Change Necessary In Present Method Of . Selling Butter By Farmers "Individuals who' make less than 80 pounds of butter per month can sell this butter in local stores the same as they have done in the past", writes Guy P. Stevenson, Steven-son, chief inspector of the state dairy foods division. This information infor-mation was in answer o an inquiry in-quiry sent by Anson B. Call, county agent, regarding the new law that is to govern the sale of butter starting June 1. Individuals making and selling over 80 pounds of butter a month will be required to have the butter but-ter inspected and it will have to be sold in a regular waxed carton similar to other dairy butter containers con-tainers now on the market. Those selling butter in this section sec-tion can secure their butter wrappers at the Washington County News the same as they have previously. |
