Show Mrs. Ada Cannon entertained her club members at her home last Friday. The afternoon was spent sewing and visiting. Refreshments were served to Anna Bentley. Elsie Best. Golda Foremaster. Clara .Bunting. Mrs. Robert Worthen. Mrs. Zella Stutznegger and an invited in-vited guest. Mrs. Grace Cannon. Mrs. Hal Bracken of Angels Camp, California, who is visiting with relatives and friends here, was the guest of honor at a party-given party-given at the home of Miss Ruth Cottam on Saturday evening. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to fifteen guests. Calvert Andrus returned Tues-' day from Los Angeles where he spent ten days on business. He intends to make his home here while supplying St. George and vicinity with a cheap liquid fuel. Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Mecham ; are expected home this week from a visit in Los Angeles. Miss La-France La-France Russell, who has been here during their stay there, intends returning to the L.D.S. Business college in Salt Lake City on Friday, Fri-day, j A bridal shower honoring Mrs. j Mary Horsley was given at the j home of Mrs. W. B. Mathis on j Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bunting left Saturday for Cedar City where they joined Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shirk and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Heaton and went on to Richfield to enjoy the Theasant hunt. Foy Melder is receiving medical treatment at the local hospital. |
