Show Professor Reid Presents Lecture On Beauties of Southern Utah "Wbat tourists see in the beauties of Southern Utah" was the subject of an illustrated lecture lec-ture given at the West Ward Conjoin Con-join M. I. A. meeting held in the Elementary school building. Sunday Sun-day evening, by II. L. Reid, head of the Division of Social Sciences at the Dixie junior college. "All Southern Utah should be set aside as a National Monument." said Mr. Reid. "Eighty-five per cent of the different strata flayers) of the earth's crust can be seen in the Grand. "Tourists not only come to see ;the beautiful colors of the tower-jing tower-jing rocks but the geological classic which can be seen at no other place on earth," he added. |
