Victor Knight was released from the hospital November 20, to return re-turn to his home in Mesquite. Mr. and Mrs. Orval Hafen have as Thanksgiving Day guests, Mrs. Hafen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Clark of Provo, and daughters. Helen, Ethel, Margery and Evalyn. Forsythe of Toquerville was visiting in this city Saturday with his sister Mrs. Mary F. Jarvis and other relatives. Mrs. George Fawcett, daughter Vilate and son Thorley arrived in St. George from Lund, Nevada, Friday accompanied by George Fawcett who will spend the winter win-ter with his daughter Mrs. Clara F. Larson. Mrs. Fawcett went on to Salt Lake City Monday. Miss Vilate returned to Lund, and after visiting a few days here Thorley will go to Los Angeles. Mrs. Ethel Prince was released from the local hospital Monday and will visit for some time with her sister Mrs. Paul Seegmiller before returning to her home in Idaho. Mr. Prince who has been visiting here for the past ten days left for Idaho Tuesday. The Foster Chapter D.U.P. held their November session at the home of Mrs. Ralph Carter, November No-vember 19, with Mrs. Mary J. Bunker and Mrs. Matilda Andrus assisting Mrs. Carter as co-hostesses. Forty members attended. The afternoon's program included the lesson by Mrs. Jennie Nixon Foster, Fos-ter, life of Lars J. Larson by his granddaughter, Mrs. Zella L. Riding Rid-ing and a humorous reading by Mrs. Myra Hunt. Luncheon was served. The Manonias L. Andrus Chapter Chap-ter D.U.P. met at the home of Mrs. Hazel Bradshaw for their November session, Thursday, November No-vember 18. Mrs. Bradshaw gave the lesson and led the discussion on the proposed Memorial Building Build-ing to be erected in Salt Lake City Following singing of Pioneer songs and recounting of humorous incidents in-cidents of early days, lunch was served. The Culture Club met Saturday afternoon, November 20. at the home of Mrs. Delia Fordham. Mrs. Paula Mathis" gave the reading. A special guest of the occasion was Mrs. R. E. Langton of Salt Lake City who will be remembered remember-ed by many friends here as the former Miss Afton Lyons. Ten club members attended.
