Show Elementary School Misses Tillie and Ruth Winsor entertained the elementary school faculty women's club at their home Wednesday evening. The evening was spent playing rook. Special guests were Miss Fae Sterling Ster-ling and Mrs. Mamie Dalton. Miss Graffs First Grade We have finished our zoo. We called it the First Grade Zoo. It looked just like a real one. We had many kinds of animals, snakes and birds in it. Some of us were guides and others animal attendants. We took every grade in our school through our zoo. One day we invited our j parents to come. We made original I poems and songs about our Ani-j Ani-j mals. J Miss Morris' Second Grade We are very busy preparaing for Thanksgiving. We have made one border telling about the Pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving and the other of fat Turkey Gobblers. Mrs. Pitchforth's Second Grade We made a very pretty Thanksgiving Thanks-giving book for book week. We have our border up. It makes our room look like Thanksgiving time is here. Our fish pond is very pretty. We enjoy watching the fish eat their breakfast every morning. There is one dozen fish in our pond now. Mrs. Bradford's Third Grade We are preparing a Thanksgiving Thanks-giving program for our room. We tried out to see who could say the poems best. Norlene DeSwan and Esther Judd won. We are going to have two plays for our program. Our health scrap books are almost al-most finished. We have made health posters also. There are many health poems on our bulletin bulle-tin board that we have made in class. We made fruit men and turkeys to decorate our room for Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Miss Foremaster's Fourth Grade We are going to have a Thanksgiving Thanks-giving program for the other fourth grade. In our program we are having a play, songs, readings and a dance. We have three new books on our library table. Miss Seegmiller's Fifth Grade We are now studying how our country became the United States. The girls in our room have divided into three committees to make curtains for our windows. The chairmen are Gaye Graff, Erma Woodbury and Chyrrel Heaton. The curtains are now up and make our room much more cozy. We have finished our aquarium and have sixteen fish in it. |
