Show ROCKVILLE JJOCKYILLE, Nov. 1. Halloween Hallo-ween furnished the motif for several interesting affairs during the past week. Thursday a masquerade ball was held. On Friday the Primary children also enjoyed a costume dance. Miss Graff gave a . party for her students. stu-dents. Mr. and Mrs. Howard De-Vaney De-Vaney entertained a score of friends at a elaborate evening party. Saturday evening Miss Thelma Stevens and Miss Barbara Bar-bara Terry entertained 12 guests at a ghost party- and the junior league held a social at the home of Mrs. Afton Ballard. A fleet of 17 trucks belonging to the Preece company, arrived I here last week and commenced hauling gravel on the new road in Zion park. A steam shovel is loading the trucks at the gravel ! pit and work is progressing rap-' rap-' idly. Mrs. Marvin Terry spent Saturday Sat-urday in Hurricane. Mrs. Will Reglan and mother, Mrs. Alfred Russell, went to Hurricane Saturday the former undergoing an operation. She is progressing nicely. Mrs. Alice Russell left this morning for a visit to Cedar City. Julius Cox made a trip to Hurricane Hur-ricane Saturday. |
