Show MT. TRUIMBULL JJT. TRUMBULL, Nov. 2. Myron My-ron Holgate passed through Mt. Trumbull on his way to the sheep camp last Tuesday. A Mr. Hill from Salt Lake City was here last week on busi-j busi-j ness in connection with the purchase pur-chase of the Shultz sawmill. Ward Esplin of St. George passed through Mt. Trumbull Wednesday on his way to the sheep herd. James Bundy made a trip to Cedar City last week and brought in the hardwood floor for our schoolhouse. He arrived here with the lumber about noon on Wednesday Wed-nesday and by Friday noon the new floor was laid. The occasion occa-sion was celebrated with a big Halloween party and dance Friday Fri-day night. Over a hundred grownups grown-ups were present. W. T. Wharton and daughters, daugh-ters, Miss Thelma and VeRay, and sons, Wheler and Isaac, arrived ar-rived in Mt. Trumbull last Friday Fri-day from Wasco, Calif., and expect to spend some time here. A dance was held at the Main Street schoolhouse last Saturday night in honor of Miss Thelma Wharton who used to live here. The first killing frost hit Mt. Trumbull about a week ago, but since that time summer weather has prevailed. The married men and single men played basketball here last Saturday afternoon. The latter won by a margin of two points. The married men wouldn't give up and challenged the singles to a game of baseball in which they were victorious. |
